SPRING TIPS

This spring has been a bit different from years past. With no snow this winter, the water levels have been dramatically affected. Low and clear has been the anthem of the spring. Try downsizing your nymphs and tippet, approach the stream with caution as not to spook any trout laying in low water. With that being said, hatches are in full swing throughout Central & SE PA which makes for great dry fly action.

Bass are starting to bed and are eager to strike. Predatory fish such as pike, pickerel, and musky are looking to hunt so keep on chuckin' those streamers!

Crappie, Panfish and Carp are also very active on your local ponds and lakes.

Good luck & tight lines!
