About the event

Join us for a hands-on workshop where participants learn how to create their own fishing flies (materials and tools will be provided by the shop). Whether you're an expert or novice we will guide you through the process of selecting materials, tying knots, and creating different types of flies specific to the Conestoga River and surrounding areas. Once the flies are completed, the class will move on to the fishing portion. We will head down to the Conestoga where the participants can test out their newly created flies. The instructor will provide guidance on casting techniques and how to effectively use the flies to attract fish. During the fishing portion, students will have the chance to put their newly acquired skills to the test and catch fish using their own handmade flies. The instructor will be available to offer advice and assistance as needed.
